Most probably the least understood position in the team. Because would choose to be in between a speeding puck or ball and the goal? There is a famous saying stating, “you don’t have to be crazy to be a goalie, but it helps!”
Having said that it is also one of the key positions within a team. They are the final barrier to be able to prevent a goal being scored. Often mocked and sometimes not appreciated the goalie enters the arena in an outfit which is supposed to provide him with protection and free movement. Unfortunately that is not always the case.
